At the Children's Center at Groton, we view children as competent learners who come to us with ideas and theories. It is our role as educators to facilitate learning along with them through provocations, listening, documenting and asking open-ended questions.
We believe that our environments are the third educator in the classroom and as a result design spaces that are respectful, aesthetically pleasing and filled with natural elements.
"L and J had the most incredible foundation for learning and for life at CCG that a parent could ever dream of. Both of my children love school- and for that I give CCG and your teachers full credit."

We love, care for, and educate children ages 6 weeks through 6 years of age. We take pride in the high teacher to student ratios at our school, choosing to exceed the required number of teachers in all classrooms. We believe additional teachers allow us to provide the kind of curriculum and one on one attention that young children need to learn and grow successfully. Children progress through our school "cohort" style- further supporting essential bonds with their peers. Our four beautiful classrooms, each with their own age appropriate playground/exterior patio space accommodate each age group's individual needs. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.
"We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today."
"There is no better place to send your child. The school is welcoming and bright. All classrooms are meticulously maintained with interesting, creative, hands-on activities changing daily and weekly. I couldn't be more pleased with the care and environment that CCG provides."
